Hey Sandra,

Thanks for everything you did for me today! It was incredible, and truly made a believer out of me in the healing of reiki. Here is my story...

Tonight I was working at Trader Joe's in Charlottesville, when Sandra came over to me where I was breaking down boxes. She mentioned it was in my best interests to cut away from me when using my box cutter. I then showed her where I had cut my thumb the day before doing exactly what she had just warned me about. I probably needed stitches to close the wound, but at the time, I didn't want to go to the ER. She then placed her hands over my thumb, while not touching it, but "transferring healing energy to it", as she put it. I have to be honest, I am a huge skeptic when it comes to things like this. But as she was talking to me, my hand suddenly had an overwhelming sense of heat.

I thought to myself,"Ok, its just her body heat," but then I realized it was warmer than normal. It was like there was a heater blowing on my hand. Then I started to feel my cut tingle. She continued this for about 3-5 minutes. When she was done, I couldn't believe it. My thumb felt significantly better. But it didn't stop there.

As I continued to work, I felt a natural body high. All of my stress and tension was relieved. I honestly felt like I was on cloud 9. I took off my bandage to look at my cut, and it was completely dried up. It had been bleeding most of the day, but not anymore. Close to 6 hours have passed since Sandra performed this, and I have felt no pain in my thumb. I continued to work the rest of the night and my thumb feels great. I have all of my mobility back and its not tight or sore. I can't wait to schedule an appointment for a full length session.

Thanks Sandra for everything you've done!! I hope you can use this story, and if anyone wants to come talk to me about it, I'm totally fine with that. I told my buddies about it at work, and I even called my friend in Colorado because he's been praying I would have an experience like this. He has witnessed similar things, and he knows how skeptical I have been in the past. He was stoked to hear about it and it really pumped him up. My thumb feels so much better.
